Dr. Garra was born in Brooklyn, NY and attended St. John?s University where he received his Bachelors in Pharmacy. He is a graduate of George Washington University School of Medicine. After completing his residency at the University of Pennsylvania he joined the United States Air Force where he became a Major. In 1972 he began his private practice and joined Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. He ahs served as president of the New Jersey OB/GYN Society and the Camden County Medical Society as well as Chairman of the District III ACOG. He is married with four children and six grandchildren.
