Dr Petroski trained at Hahnemann University School of Medicine with postgraduate training in Internal medicine there followed by liver disease and gastrointestinal training at Yale and UConn. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and has practiced in Willingboro since 1975. He is past Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at LMCBC, a recipient of "Top Doc" award for 2009 and 2011 from SJ Magazine, and was an Associate Professor of Medicine at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine at Camden (Cooper University Hospital). He is an active Rotarian and a member of the Lourdes Health System Foundation Board.
